This morning, we woke up to our own little winter wonderland, with snow everywhere. The trees look like they’ve got powdered sugar on every branch, the ground is covered in sheets of cotton. This includes, of course, our driveway … a few inches of snow, but more than we’ve ever driven in. Well, we figure we’ll be leaving in the mid-afternoon, so we’ll cross the bridge of “what to do to when we need to get the car out of the garage” when we get there.
Lo and behold, at around 8AM, I see our neighbor walking down the street with his snow blower, and then I see snow blowing in our driveway. Fifteen minutes later, he’s walking back up the street. I went outside and there is a lovely path in our driveway from the garage to the street.
The neighborliness of our new ‘hood just warms my heart.
